The QuantOnCal® app serves as a monitoring tool aimed at assessing the inflammatory status associated with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

The QuantOnCal® testing system encompasses both the QuantOnCal® app and a rapid test for human calprotectin, both designed for user-friendly application regardless of location. Monitoring IBD through the biomarker calprotectin allows for the early detection of inflammation even before clinical symptoms manifest.

The app processes the results from the rapid calprotectin test conducted on stool samples. Elevated levels of calprotectin are indicative of increased inflammatory activity. Test results are displayed on the user's smartphone screen and are promptly forwarded to the attending physician. The healthcare professional reviews each result to determine if further evaluation of the therapy is warranted.
